Can be tight at the start if served too cold but once warmed and aired for 30 minutes, this wine opens up nicely. Subtle earthy chocolate notes. Has a sweet red fruit nose, quite fragrant. A mix of light blackberries with raspberries and cherry - lovely mouthfeel with a mild spicy medium finish. Goes well with poultry, pasta, pork, veal, deer and venison.
