A prestigious Second Growth from Pauillac, Château Pichon Baron 2016 is produced from the estate’s oldest vines on historic gravel-rich plots near the Gironde estuary. The vintage benefited from a long, warm and dry summer followed by an extended period of fine weather, allowing the grapes to reach excellent ripeness and concentration. The wine is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot, and is aged in French oak.
