Versatile and packed with both protein and flavour! These chicken meatballs can be enjoyed as is or paired with pasta, bread or rice.



  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (fine)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley (can substitute with dried)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 onion (finely chopped, or grated)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)


  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Using your hands, mix until well combined.
  • Pinch off a piece of the mixture (about 4tbsp each) and roll into a ball between your hands.
  • Place on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Serving: +-12 med or 24 small meatballs

chicken mince can be substitued for beef or lamb.
