CHICKEN MEATBALLS
Versatile and packed with both protein and flavour! These chicken meatballs can be enjoyed as is or paired with pasta, bread or rice.
Ingredients
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (fine)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley (can substitute with dried)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)
- 500g minced chicken
- 1 onion (finely chopped, or grated)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Using your hands, mix until well combined.
- Pinch off a piece of the mixture (about 4tbsp each) and roll into a ball between your hands.
- Place on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Serving: +-12 med or 24 small meatballs
chicken mince can be substitued for beef or lamb.
